The Hollybush Rifle Club was instrumental during the 1980's in the Town Twinning relationship with Valence and Bieberach and hosted teams from Tir Olympique Valentinois (TOV), which was the shooting club in Valence.

When Mum, Dad and I were shooting ay Hollybush we used to enter 5 or 6 teams in the NSRA Summer leagues, and even managed a division win or 2! During our time Mum was selected for the Randal Match on 5 occasions, Dad competed with 2 Dewar Teams, while I represented GB at the European Championships. Dad was also asked to Captain the England Home Countries Team and Mum took charge of the England Ladies.
